🏆 Mom Approved Awards: Official Voting Rules

Thank you for helping us honor the outstanding professionals who support growing families in our community! To ensure a fair, transparent, and meaningful award process, all votes are subject to the following rules:

1. Voting Window

• Start Date: October 14th

• End Date: November 5th at 11:59 PM CST

• Votes submitted after the deadline will not be counted.

2. Voter Eligibility & Limits

• One Vote Per Person: Each individual may submit one ballot (one vote per category) during the voting period.

• Email Verification: A valid email address is required to submit your ballot. Duplicate entries using the same email address or IP address will automatically be filtered out.

• Community Connection: Voting is open to clients, patients, community members, and local professionals who have experience with the nominee’s services.

3. Fair Play & Anti-Fraud Policy

• Organic Votes Only: All votes must come from real individuals. The use of automated voting scripts, bots, paid voting services, or fake/disposable email accounts is strictly prohibited.

• Audit & Disqualification: Katy Birth Network reserves the right to audit vote logs and disqualify any nominee or discard votes that show signs of fraudulent activity or vote manipulation.

4. Nominee Requirements

• Local Service Area: Nominees must actively serve families within Katy, Texas, or the surrounding communities (Fulshear, Cypress, West Houston, Brookshire, etc.).

• Good Standing: Nominees must be operating in good professional standing with active licenses or certifications where required by Texas state regulations.

5. Winners & Announcements

• Category Winners: The nominee with the highest number of valid votes in each category at the end of the voting period will be declared the winner.

• Official Reveal: Winners will be officially announced at the Annual Katy Build Your Birth Team Event on November 7th at the Dryer.

• Recognition: Winners will receive an official Mom Approved 2026 award certificate and digital badge for promotional use.
