Sakinah Birth is founded by Jihan Huq. Jihan is an experienced HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator, Certified Clinical Hypnotist, doula, and Texas Chapter Leader of the HypnoBirthing Institute.

The philosophy behind Sakinah Birth is simple: strive for positive cultural change within the Houston Birth Community. Positive cultural change happens through empowerment. When parents are empowered with information and support, they realize their full potential!

A little background about Jihan: Jihan is a Bangladeshi-American. She is happily married with her amazing husband of eleven years and has two kids, one of them being born using HypnoBirthing techniques.
