About the event
Mom Talk — A Conversation on Identity Shift, Guilt & Shame
Part of the Katy Bump & Beyond series
Motherhood brings profound emotional and identity shifts — and with them can come unexpected feelings of guilt, shame, and disconnection from the person you once were.
Join Kailynn Klepfer, LCSW-S, a trauma-informed therapist who specializes in supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond, for an open and supportive conversation about the emotional realities of motherhood.
In this virtual class, we’ll explore:
The identity shift that comes with becoming a mother
Common experiences of guilt and shame in motherhood
How these feelings show up and why they’re so common
Gentle, practical ways to approach these emotions with more self-compassion
This is a judgment-free space designed to normalize these experiences and remind moms they are not alone.
Tuesday, May 12 | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
