The Nursery Atelier LLC

We, the co-founders Deniz and Ruohan, had both moved here from Azerbaijan and the UK respectively as expats in 2024 and had both enjoyed long maternity leaves when having their babies. We quickly realised that American moms were working til their due date and returning to work soon after giving birth, making us question how they had the time and luxury to research all they need for baby and prepare. Many other mom friends we made mentioned “it was like sitting the bar again” trying to cross-check their friends’ registries to form their own, and that they wish someone could just do it for them. We started the business with the mission of taking the stress off expecting families preparing for baby’s arrival by giving highly personalised advice on baby products which suit their lifestyle and which are safe, practical and durable. We would always start with an intro call and get to know the family’s habits and preferences before putting together a curated list of items. For the registry design service, this is the initial step families can take for starting to gather baby items. Then, whichever items that did not make the registry or did not get bought, we can help them curate. We can also offer a subscription service for clothes and toys where every couple of months or so we will curate the right ones for the baby’s developmental age. And finally for nursery design and set up, we will visit a family’s home to see their space and take measurements before designing a nursery for them.
